Chronology
Eva (Odessa Young), a widow living in the 19th century, is forced to make an impossible choice when the ship sinks off the coast of her remote fishing station in the middle of a particularly brutal winter. Eva and her crew must choose whether to save the castaway or survive the winter with the last remaining food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and racked with guilt, the residents struggle with a growing sense of dread and begin to believe that they are all being punished for their choices.
